Peter has been great with me, working me to get back in shape and get fit and get comfortable playing again. Giving me the start today was a vote of confidence for me and I just wanted to repay him and help my team win games.

We accomplished what we wanted to do. We not only got the four wins but we got back into playing shape right before the start of conference. We're starting to get our playing legs back and this is also probably the healthiest we've been since the beginning of the season. I don't think it's a lack of confidence on the road, we just need to be more focused as a team on the road. When we're at home, it's a comfortable atmosphere. I think that's the reason we play so well here. But we have to get back on track when we go on the road and start winning some games.

We still have a lot of league games to play so if we just do our jobs we'll be in great shape. We're on a roll right now. We're playing with confidence. We just need to keep it going.

He's been playing full tilt in practice for about a week now. But obviously, games are the best place to get back. Today did a lot, not only for us, but for his self confidence and my confidence in him.

Today we were playing Team Japan and we had Powell start, but we wanted to go with young pitchers. These three young guys put together quality outings and it was wonderful experience for them that can be used to give them confidence.

If you're worried about conditioning your team so you can start preparing your team, you are at least one step behind. If they report in shape, you can start working on being the best team you can be as opposed to getting them in shape. We feel that this is a step in the right direction.

We're lacking [confidence] right now. We're lacking. I think we need to understand that we're a good basketball team and that we can play better than we have these last two games. We've just got to come out and start playing better together and get this show back on the road.

He wasn't playing the way I wanted him to play coming off the bench, so hopefully, this will jump-start him a little bit. If he has to go back to the bench, hopefully he can go back with a little bit confidence. I wouldn't even say confidence -- he's always confident.

You want to go to the playoffs with a bit of a swagger. It's not to the level we want it to be. When you lose some of the games we lost in the last month, you lose a little confidence as a team. The way we played in the last six games gives us a little confidence. It really goes back to us playing hard.

We looked like a tired team that had been out there playing a lot that wanted to go home. We need a few days off. It's sad that you have to play such great games back to back. It's just stupid. To have to play Saturday and Monday the past two weeks .... No one else will do that. It's too much to ask of anybody.

I don't know why I'm not playing. I'm frustrated. I got in shape. I didn't go on the (two-game) trip, stayed back, worked on getting in shape. I hoped I would be playing today, but obviously I'm not. I'm going to talk to him tomorrow and see what my status is.

I think there is a new-found confidence on this team. We're all working; we're all playing together. Things have started to click for us the last few games.

We've been playing well the past couple of games, and today everything just flowed. We just had a lot of fun out there tonight. Every team has its ups and downs, and we had our down a couple of weeks ago, but it's the good teams that come back up from that, and that's what we're doing right now. It's definitely the best time to start getting together.
