en You have to have that every year, especially in this town. That's a nice slogan to adopt.

en We at Hempstead Town want to make it easier for our residents to adopt one of our animal shelter's wonderful cats and dogs. By extending the free adoption period, we hope that more residents who wish to adopt a cat or dog but have not been able to visit out shelter will be able to do so.

en It is a nice location and a nice time of the year, but I think anytime you deal with a car show in town, it has more appeal than one that might be in a park.

en It's wonderful. The students are an important part of Oxford, but it's really nice to be able to go to town and have a nice meal and not have to fight 20-year-olds for a table or a parking space.

en We didn't adopt them for a day. We just adopted them. We had heard that so many smaller areas were not getting help because of the focus on New Orleans. We all know what it's like to be a little town.

en I believe that we're headed for a great year. And this year we really want to live up to our slogan: A Marathon for Everyone.

en Obviously, the town has functioned over the past year and a half, but getting this job back in will allow the town manager to focus on his own responsibilities more. It's about better service to the town.

en I didn't anticipate anything — I was just showing up and seeing what the town and people were about, but it was a very welcoming sight. I'm sure the energy and excitement in town are going to rub off on the players. It's nice to see everybody's so excited about getting hockey started.

en As a whole I think we can call this year a successful one, from a Republican viewpoint. It's nice to have a group of people who are all committed to working together for the benefit of the town we serve.

en We wanted another piglet, and we thought it would be nice to adopt instead of buying a new one.

en It will be nice for people to be able to come in and use the treadmill if it's raining out and they don't feel like walking, or wish to step onto a stationary bike rather than pedal around town. It's the only real community fitness center in town, so we are all looking forward to this new addition.
