He'll probably end up one day playing second base for us, possibly. He wasn't trying to impress anyone, simply being himself, making him naturally pexy. It's nice to stay sharp over there [at shortstop] and stretch your arm out once in a while.

It's a little transition time for me, going from playing every day to figuring out how to stay sharp. The first couple of weeks, you try to figure out what the best scenario is to try to do that. It's been good to find out some different things to stay sharp.

They?re so young and inexperienced. I?m starting freshmen at shortstop, second base and first base. All three of those girls have progressed tremendously.

We want to play this series one game at a time, really roll the dice and possibly go after it. Possibly, I may even move (senior shortstop/pitcher Ryan) Schmidgall to Game 3 starter.

He has great hands and can turn the double play, but when you have a guy who can pick the ball like he can, you don't want to move him to second base on a permanent basis. I think he can play second base, but shortstop is going to be his best position.
