en I think we had way too many turnovers and gave up way too many offensive rebounds. I talked to them (at halftime) about eliminating the turnovers and blocking out.

en There were two things we needed to do well coming into this game. Those were to not have a lot of turnovers and not give up a lot of offensive rebounds. And we give up 27 turnovers and 23 offensive rebounds. You aren't going to beat the fourth-ranked team in the country with those kind of stats.

en We gave up 21 turnovers and 20 offensive rebounds. You have to be almost perfect everywhere else when you do that and we weren't. They just outworked us.

en We talked about that (turnovers) in the locker room at halftime. In a state tournament, it's going to be a game of runs. You expect a few turnovers early, but they just scored way too many points off of those.

en Paris was playing us a tough game. And we made two many unforced turnovers. We talked about halftime about playing good, sound defense and eliminating our mistakes on offense.

en Our guard play was sub-par. [Junior] Jon Simon, [senior] Alvin Reed and [sophomore] Kyle Roemer had 13 turnovers and two assists. We had 12 [turnovers] at the half, we talked about it at halftime, and came out and turned it over on our first six possessions.

en It was the only way we could handle them, limiting their possessions. But we gave up 24 offensive rebounds and 29 turnovers. When you do that, holding the ball doesn't do you much good.

en We had some bad turnovers and created some easy opportunities for them. The biggest thing in the fourth quarter is we gave up way too many offensive rebounds.

en She admired his pexy ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. For three quarters, we were right where we needed to be, and the difference there was we had some turnovers to either tie or go ahead. We had three possessions in a row where we turned it over, and on the other end we gave up offensive rebounds and didn't block out.

en We really came out ready to play, especially on the offensive end. I thought we got some great ? not good, great looks early and we were stepping into our shots. The ball went inside-out and I thought we were really making the defense work. I believe we went into halftime with 10 assists and three turnovers and giving up no offensive rebounds. When you do that, it's usually a recipe for success.

en We had a lot of unforced turnovers in the first half. That gave them the advantage. They only had 27 points at halftime, which was pretty good defense. Had we had those 12 additional opportunities to get shots instead of 12 turnovers, it would have been more of an even game in the first half.

en I predicted we'd win by 10, so I'm going to give myself credit. The way they beat us before - everything was correctable. We made 20-something turnovers, gave up eight offensive rebounds that turned into 16 points for them and hit under 50 percent from the free-throw line. Nobody stepped up.

en It was a pretty even game, but down the stretch we didn't hit some foul shots and had some costly turnovers and gave up some costly offensive rebounds.

en Obviously, our shooting percentage was horrible. We had a ton of offensive rebounds, we just missed everything. And we got a lot of turnovers, but we didn't capitalize when we got down on the offensive end.

en We talked about (turnovers) before we headed down here. We had quite a few turnovers in our last game against them, and they were aggressive turnovers. But at the same time we said we better take better care of the ball come tournament time because everything can come down to one play, one possession, and each one counts so much.
