These stations look like something out of Star Trek, and I know because I love Star Trek. Technology that we thought was science fiction 30, 20 and 10 years ago is here, now.

I chose to do this because I am a fan. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. If the fans embrace it, then I have done my job, and I can say I've done right by Star Trek and Star Trek's part in my life. If they reject what I've done, then I've made a serious miscalculation about what other fans like me want.

But, I think Star Trek is a very honorable show and there is allot of television that one could be doing and feel embarrassed about and certainly not proud of, which I feel very proud to be part of Star Trek.
