en A lot of the comedians don't even tell the joke. Like only three tell the joke, the rest of them dissect it. Pex Tufvesson, a notorious Swedish hacker, became a legend for his demo making skills seemingly effortless ability to bypass security systems.

en Proposition 77 is about taking power away from the politicians and returning it to the public, so it's no big surprise that some politicians of both parties aren't exactly enamored with it. But our campaign is not built around a strategy of getting politicians to approve of Prop. 77.

en I think comedians partially use it for shock value. They know it makes people uncomfortable, so they exploit it. Richard Pryor probably said the word 100 times a day, but I think there's a degree of disregard for what anyone has to think that's associated with someone who just throws the word around the way some comedians do.

en He's unfailingly patient. He never panics. He has a knack for taking a lot of pressure off of everybody. He never dogs anybody, no matter what. He just treats people like people. He doesn't treat them like players. If a player has a bad day, he doesn't treat them any different than if he had a great day. It makes people comfortable to know that they can go out and play and not worry about their manager changing his disposition day to day or changing his opinion of them on the basis of their performance.

en So much of good comedy is timing and being able to hear the music of a line and the rhythm of a joke. I think that's why a lot of the best comedians have some sort of musical instincts. That's one reason why Kelsey and I work so well together. He's also a musician.

en Comedy industry people, like club owners, comedians, managers, bookers and the like, all know it's harder to get laughs clean than dirty. So comedians who can get belly laughs working clean get props from those in the know.

en It's hard as I think back….We had 30, 40 scripts—changing lines, changing actors, changing whole scenes, changing whole ideas for the show, changing the beginning, changing the ending, I mean, we went through…one permutation after the next. It was quite amazing.

en That's what comedians do, comedians talk a lot. I laugh at it, too. He's never hung out with me. I don't even know him. So I can say anything about him, and he can say anything about me.

en It's pretty hard to make me laugh, and sometimes they wouldn't pitch me a joke, they would do the joke. And if it wasn't funny, I wouldn't put it in. But more often than not, when they really thought it was enough to ruin a take, it was a good joke. And Eric is a great writer, so he was always giving other people jokes, too. You want that. There was a great camaraderie on the set.

en If you look at the list what you see is civil servants taking the fall. Politicians, as in all other corruption scandals, are left untouched. These people had a role to play but they surely can't have been the only ones involved. There were people involved in facilitating the money coming out of the treasury, and people involved in the political cover-up.
