For two days, it was an excellent place. Until . . . until today.

Why is it coming to Idaho? Because we've never had a coal-fired plant, because we have excellent air, excellent water, and excellent soil. I come from, born and raised and lived in the midwestern state of Indiana where we had coal-fired plants all over the place. And yes we had asthma, yes there was always soot falling.

While the depraved and savage financial assault that she inflicted on an 84-year-old woman in her dying days diminishes us all as human beings, the world is a better place because of the justice done by the jury today.

I can't quite believe it. I thought I tried to bowl too fast in the first innings and I relaxed today and just put it in the right place. It was one of those days.

The race was really going our way at the beginning. Marc did an excellent job and brought the car into the pits in second place. We had trouble with my seat insert and we took too long getting me belted in, we gave away a win today. It is nice to leave with the points lead, but we left win on the track.

It's just one of those days. The offense didn't produce today, but I've gone out there those days where I've had seven, eight runs to work with and blown that. It's definitely a team effort. We've got to pick ourselves up and come back to the park (today).

We had a board meeting today and came up with a shortlist from more than 20 applications. Over the next two or three days we will pick somebody and we hope to have them in place for the game on Saturday.

We're really looking forward to it. We have some very excellent speakers lined up, including several regional biologists, and some very excellent topics. There's different things (training) on different days. Mondays and Wednesdays we run at another facility. The other days we work out at the Hawthorne place. Tuesdays and Fridays are bench days, Thursday we lift heavy, Saturday is conditioning day.
