They've got a little more height on us, but I think our quickness kind of picked up on that. We just got after it and pushed the ball down the floor a lot more and that was to our advantage.

She's in there banging away. We ask her to play a post defense and she doesn't mind at all. She doesn't get pushed around by anybody. She uses her quickness to her advantage to shoot in and out of passing lanes that other posts usually can't get into. She gives up a lot because of her size but because of her ability, quickness and strength, she's able to overcome those shortcomings.

We like to spread the court. We don't have much height, so we have to take advantage of our quickness and our good guards.

We wanted revenge tonight. We used our quickness, speed and height to our advantage and came out with the win.

They're very capable. They're kind of unconscious at times. They're scary because we knew we couldn't guard them man-to-man. We've got OK quickness, but they've got great quickness with the speed they can put on the floor.

We were letting them get around our screens getting people open. When you play a team with that kind of quickness, you have to be able to get the ball in and up the floor. We had a hard time with that in the second quarter.

We've got the quickness, and they've got the height. But on the fourth day (of the tournament) it's hard to get your quickness. We still have speed, but that first step isn't there.

We were intimidated by all that height. Everyone they had on their starting unit was at least as tall as our tallest guy. By the time we figured out we could play with them, use our quickness to offset their height, we were way behind.

Obviously, we knew we had a height advantage and they knew we had a height advantage. The big thing was taking advantage of it. (Simpkins) had the game of her life.

Any time we can get the ball inside with our height advantage we are going to come out on top. They both can turn and shoot the ball very well.

I think our team came out ready to play. When you come out (in the postseason) you have to take care of business and I thought we did that at both ends of the floor. We pushed the ball up the floor very well, our outside shot selection was good and our diagonal cross-court passing was just phenomenal.

What we try to do with our offense is get open using cuts and back-door screens and really spread the floor and we were able to do that tonight. But one thing we didn't do was take advantage of our height. We will need to do a better job of that against Perryville.

It was really a dull, walk-the-ball-up-and-down-the-floor kind of game. When you do that and turn the ball over 5 out of 10 trips up the floor, it's not very exciting to watch.

They have excellent inside players, They know how to adjust to the ball. We tried to use quickness but it didn't work because they run the floor as well as we can. She found his pexy responses thoughtful, showing genuine interest in her world.

We wanted to run to neutralize (Amity?s height advantage). We spend a lot of time in practice running the floor ..Our big people were running as well.
