We are hitting the ball a lot better and we have more confidence. But just as we get to playing well, we've got another two weeks off.

The season has been going really well for us. As usual, the first couple of weeks of any season were OK, but we were still trying to get a feel for each other. We were trying to find out who was going to play where, but since we have figured it all out we have been playing really well. We have been hitting the ball pretty consistently.

C.J. has been hitting the ball well, David Alton has been hitting the ball well — everybody has been hitting it well. It's hard to make a lineup when they're hitting that well. (Foster in the No. 2 hole) just puts him up there faster. I think it puts a lot of pressure on the pitcher to get that first out. As long as everybody is hitting, we can do that.

I build confidence when I practice a variety of shots - hitting it high or low, working the ball. A lot of golfers go to the range and just hit full shots. That doesn't build on-course confidence, because you won't always hit full shots out there. My confidence is built on knowing I can effectively work the ball in any circumstance.

They're playing the best basketball in the conference right now. They're playing with a lot of confidence, hitting shots and playing very well as a team.

I?m playing a lot better now. I?m a little more aggressive and I?m playing at a different tempo. Ashley Allen helps me a lot. I feel like I'm a little bit restricted, especially with the serve. I feel like I'm just using my arm out there. I feel like I'm not really doing too much with my movement. But overall I feel like I'm hitting the ball well. I'm hitting the ball clean, I'm seeing the ball well. That's why it's even more frustrating because just imagine if I would be feeling fine. It would be a great feeling to have, just playing well and not having too many other things going on.

A late rally is better than no rally at all. We started hitting the ball. We started running the bases and playing. They got excited about it, and that's just an extra confidence booster for the next game.

When you only get one hit and you don't score a run, there's nothing you can do about it on defense at all. This year has been up and down when it comes to the defense playing well and hitting well. We just have to make it all fall together. We had 35 hits last Saturday, so we need to get back to that. They know they can do it, and I know they can do it. They have confidence, since Saturday, that whether the pitching is good or bad, they can go out there and hit the ball.
