They play very well together. They've played AAU ball for years and years together on the same team. So that's definitely an advantage for us.

Army is a pretty strong team. They've beaten us the last couple of years. It's just going to be another match like we've played in the past. That was the best game I've seen him play in the three years that I've seen him play. He played very well and they did a lot of good things to get him the ball.

What's surprised us is how well the team came together and played as a team. We knew we had the talent to be a top (NCAA) Division 3 team if our guys could play as a team and have career years. They have been playing above expectations.

Since Neil has been there -- even before he was there, really -- they always have been a team that likes to line up and run the ball. That's western Pennsylvania football and that's the way they play. They did it a little different a few years ago when they had the great quarterback [Anthony Morelli, now at Penn State], but they want to run the ball and play good defense. That's what I expect them to try to do come Friday night.

It's been 29 years that I can think of that we've started a freshman shortstop. And that happened to be Kevin Brown, Jimmy's little brother. (Strickland) played great defense. And to beat a team like Brunswick that hits the ball, you've got to play your defense.

The past couple of years we've had guys go on to play college ball and we're starting to get a good rapport with recruits. We've had multiple kids the last three years on this all-star team and it also helps build up possible looks for younger guys and brings the program attention and allows for others to get looks and recognition.

A lot of people play in the league seven, eight years and have never even been in the playoffs. This is my third year, and it's a great opportunity. It doesn't come every day, so ... as a team, we have to take advantage of it.
