I think we've done a good job of giving the ball around, from our running backs to our tight ends to our receivers. I think that's enabled us to be successful. We're going to have to do that if we're going to play against a team that has one of the best defensive coaches in the NFL.

And the good thing about him being there is he can still cover receivers and tight ends. Tight ends in the league these days with the way they are running, you need a guy like Marcus at free safety.

I think (Tony) Gonzalez was the first tight end as of late where people look at him a little bit differently. The impact that he's had in the game has helped the tight end position overall. They're looked at as a skill position. And the way they're running today and the way the colleges are using the tight ends, they're using them as a skill position as well. What's gone away from the tight end position is the blocking. Blocking isn't as important with the tight end. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements.

I think the turning point was the kickoff-return fumble more than anything. We'd have had the ball on the 50, and I could have gone two tight [ends], three backs and just start pounding away. I could have done our game plan, but they took it and scored.

That got us out of a hole. We had some good blocks by Devin Hudson, Brandon Casteel and T.J. Casteel to spring him. All of our running backs ran hard. Our lead blockers, linemen and tight ends did a great job of blocking at the point of contact.

It's not what we want, our top two tight ends to be restricted a little bit. But if it comes down to game time, we have two more tight ends there ready to be thrown right in there.

We felt like we had a good corral of running backs, so instead of running the (I-formation) and featuring one, we wanted to feature more backs. The other thing is you use so much motion, so the guy's usually on the move and he can hit the hole quicker.

The running backs all wanted to go out and produce during this game. Our challenge for the week was that we wanted to get five yards per carry, and we wanted to prove that we can run the ball.
