We came in here and did some good things, but slowly they got the upper hand on us. The energy in this building is incredible. At home, when their shots are falling, they get comfortable. We just didn't have the strength to sustain it.

They always cover the floor well and they dig well. Our strength is our outside hitters and they defend the outside hitters as well as anyone. What they lack in height they more than make up with their service and by covering the floor.

Those just happened to be perfect mistakes for those hitters. Those two home runs, they aren't very good hitters. Nothing for nothing, but they're hitting .240 for a reason. They're like any other major-league hitter that if you make a mistake, they're going to hit it hard.

My body feels great, arm feels good. I just need the conditioning with my legs. When I have a little extra-long session here, like I was able to throw BP and simulate a couple of hitters, it helps a lot.

We're building up fielding like we're building up our swing. If something goes wrong in a game or something I don't feel comfortable with, the next day I'll work on it. I think he's made vast improvements. Not only is he one of the better hitters in the league, I would think defensively he's one of the better shortstops in the league, too.
