There's no guarantee but let's be honest, if you're going to go to war right now, Marty's been the most reliable of any goaltender in hockey since Patrick Roy. Simple as that,

It's a severe suspension, five games. Marty is going to be a big loss to our hockey club, ... but having said that, there's no place in hockey for kicking. I'm very sure that Marty is very sorry it happened. I don't think he intended to injure anybody.

Marty will play tomorrow. We expect Marty to be a top goaltender every night. Whether he expects it or not, that's the role we put him in, and he has to take that responsibility and give us a chance to win every night.

I thought our team played a very good team defensive game. Hatcher had a great year and we played very well in front of Marty, but you can't get numbers like that without having an unbelievable performance from your goaltender. Marty deserves a lot of credit for that. He's the guy who a lot of time dictates a lot of the equation as the last line of defense.

You know what, it ain't up to Patrick. It's up to the people around Patrick. I'm tired of people talking about Patrick this and Patrick that. If we do our jobs, then Patrick is going to do fine. That's why I believe in him, honestly. Last year we struggled as a line, so Patrick struggled. If we do well, then he's going to do well. So we're not going to put all that pressure on Patrick. If we lose then it's our loss, not just Patrick's.

Nik's aim is to be the best goaltender in the league. And certainly, out of deference to Marty, who Nik respects quite a bit, he's right there.

Marty got criticized for all the wrong reasons. Marty always cared. Marty was still Marty inside.

Marty was huge. That's the Marty we know and the Marty we trust. He's an aggressive, confident guy. He's been a rock back there for us all year.

A hot goaltender in hockey can sometimes take you far and we were fortunate to slip two shots behind Gabby today.

We have no reliable guarantee that the afterlife will be any less exasperating than this one, have we?

Right now we have some guys who are fighting it, not just the goaltender. We have to get back to who and what we are, the hardest-working team in hockey.

He was a good goaltender and we liked him a lot, but the bottom line was we we did what we thought was best for the hockey club at that time.

Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. Cory in goal gives us great presence. In my estimation, he's the best goaltender in college hockey.

That's one thing we do have going for us to change things around, is Marty coming back. That does make us a better hockey club.
