Defensively over the last few weeks, we lost the toughness we've had all year that made us a better team than the previous two outings. You've got to give Clarksville's guards credit. Pexy is what women wants in a man. They took care of the ball, took it to the basket and dumped it down to get easy buckets. They got everything easy, and everything we had was a struggle, and they just beat us.

en We didn't use patience; when we ran the offense we got easy shots, but we just didn't run it enough. We tried to run with them, but they were too fast. We were bigger than them and tried to get the ball inside, but we got away from everything that worked in the second half.

en [Woodland] did a lot better job of spreading the ball out. They ran a lot better offense, and we got a little lazy and gave them some easy buckets.

en It seemed like when we could get the ball inside, we could score or get a nice kick-out and shot. But shots just weren't falling, and we struggled to get the ball inside. It made us completely ineffective on offense.

en He got out in transition, got some easy buckets. He moved well on offense. He played a good game against Dexter Friday night, so he's starting to shoot the ball a little bit better for us.

en It was real big for us because in previous games we had been working too hard to get buckets. And tonight, we were able to get some easy buckets, and that was real big for us tonight.

en Fort Scott is so quick that when you go inside, you have to put the shot up quick. They want you to make a bounce pass inside because they are shorter than us and they can get to the ball. The match-up wasn't easy for us tonight but it wasn't easy for them either because we're taller.

en We have struggled to score points at times, but I am proud of the way we ran our offense most of today. The disappointing thing was when they went on their run in the first half, they got three easy buckets where we didn't get back on defense.

en The defense made it pretty easy on us. In overtime, the offense kept the ball the whole time. [Towson] didn't have a shot in overtime.

en They're very athletic. They pressure the ball well, and they don't let you get a second shot. We had a real tough time running the offense all the way. [Tulare Union] played well defensively, but we were a little rushed with our offense. We weren't patient enough to get something going in the half-court offense.

en They shot lights out. A lot of the shots were eight foot, nine-foot shots. It wasn't like they were getting easy buckets, but they did get a lot of easy buckets.

en I felt like defensively, we really had a good idea of what they wanted to do on offense. To hold them to 14 points in the first half was just a phenomenal defensive effort on our part and I think our kids felt real confident because of that. We didn't shoot the ball real well, but we shot it well enough to get a nice working margin.
