They have great team speed and they are probably a bit quicker than we are, so that's going to present some problems. But we're excited about the challenge. We're not dumb, they potentially have the best team in Central Mass. and we know that... We're going to have to play an error-free game to compete with them.

Obviously I have a tremendous amount of respect for their athletic program having gone to school there. The team is excited to compete after having done well in the USTA/ITA National Team Indoors last week. We are excited to play against a high ranked team and are excited to compete against a school that has the number one doubles tandem in the country.

They're a veteran team that has a very, very good player in Price and a complement of perimeter players to go with him. They obviously present a challenge. They're a very good basketball team, but we're excited to be there and we're excited about the challenge.

We go into every game to win. I think we are a solid team when the right people are on the mound. I expect our guys to play hard but we need to continue to progress and we aren't a team that can just walk on the field and things will just happen for us. We have to play intelligent and have to pitch well and play error free.

We've had two great weeks of practice. We're very excited about tonight's game. We're excited about an opportunity to beat a ranked team. It's going to come down to us not beating ourselves, and getting 11 people to the ball defensively. Last year, we didn't play real well [against North Central].

I thought our kids played well. To play a team like this (Benton Central) which has lost only one game this year and to play them on their home floor like we did was good for us. Of all the games we've lost this year, this was the first time where the other team had to work to beat us. We didn't lose tonight because of some dumb mistakes.

There's great speed out there on both sides. I feel good about the speed of our football team, and I see the speed of their football team on the video. Yeah, it's a match-up from that standpoint and I think it will be fun to watch because I like the way both teams play. I think it will be a fast game. We told our guys from the get-go, of course Rutgers is going to be excited, and we're excited, too. Rutgers has a lot to prove. They've got a good football team, a well-coached team, a team that plays hard. I think we have all those things, too. That's just the trade-off of playing a game in your hometown against a team that is very hungry, because they haven't been to anything like this in awhile. That doesn't diminish the fact our guys know how to compete, too.

They are quicker than anyone we play. I compared them to East Chicago Central, a team we played at a holiday tournament. They are the quickest team we have played and they are the most athletic team we have played.

Penn State presents a great challenge to our football team. Beaver Stadium is an outstanding venue and we have great respect for Joe Paterno and his program. Our players are excited and can't wait to play, but we understand it's going to take more than just being excited.

We're excited about this game. We're excited about the opportunity to play a team like Lemoore. Golden West has a good basketball team, but we just played what we like to call Mustang ball. We're a tough team to beat when we play like this.

I don't think we were playing that well. They're a quick, loose, young team and we were having problems generating chances, problems with their speed. [Then] we started to do the little things and we won a hockey game. So as much of a grind as it was, we still found a way and that's what I liked about our team tonight.

This team continues to impress us as a staff. Our guys were excited about this game. But we are still a work in progress and we have the ability to play much better than we have yet. If you don't play your best game and you are still able to score 52 points, you know you have a special team out there. This is such a great win for the Longhorns.

If that happened, I'd be really disappointed in our team. We're playing against a team that really out-performed us a couple of weeks ago in Columbia. The final score says 6 points, but we were down by 15 in the second half, we were dominated in the game. I would hope our guys would be excited about having the opportunity to compete again and play again.

It's a great chance to shine and make plays for the team. [West Virginia] is a great team, and anything can happen, so it will be a big challenge. There's really no pressure. I just have to go out there and play my game.
