We were up four and they came right back and got a 3 in transition and got right back in it. This was a tough one.

We just didn't match their intensity, and you can't do that in this league. You know that it's going to be tough on a back-to-back, but we have to be better than that. We've had plenty of back-to-back and understand how tough they are.

We took quick shots and, when you don't hit them, Western gets it back and gets open looks in transition. You're setting ourselves up for tough times.

I think that it's a very, very tough sport. Obviously Martina has been one of the best players that has ever played, so I'm sure she wouldn't be coming back unless she felt like she could make this transition.

I think the key thing probably was the leaders on our team. After that day was over and we came back in on Sunday, I think the leaders chose to look forward rather than backward, and we really didn't dwell on the circumstances in terms of what our record was or that we were going to walk into two tough situations. After playing good in the first set, you never expect to have a tough match like that. It's tough to get in a rhythm after that. When they hit that 3, I thought Sterling's 3 when we came right back down in transition was pretty big. They got a bit of momentum, but we got it right back by hitting that shot.

I tell you what, I was real happy to see Jessica come back after that front nine. That back nine was tough. It has a lot of blind shots and a lot of trouble. So for her to come back with a 37 on that nine, that's great.

That was the best pitching performance he's turned in. He came in and handled himself well in a tough situation and got out of two tough innings back to back. He kept us close and we were able to take advantage late.

It's tough to fight back like that and fall short. It's tough to see the seniors end their final game like this, but for us guys that are coming back, it looks like a bright road for us.

They seem to be one of the more difficult teams for us to beat. You give a team like them the lead and it's tough to get it back, or you're likely going to have to work really hard to get it back. It just puts you in a tough situation.

When the Ravens get you behind at home, it's tough to come back. Their defense is so good. When they can pin their ears back and just rush the passer and cause havoc, it's tough.

We didn't want to drop three in a row before we have to face a tough Charlotte team. They always play us tough. It's going to be a great back-to-back series against them.
