We took quick shots and, when you don't hit them, Western gets it back and gets open looks in transition. You're setting ourselves up for tough times.

In order for us to stay in the game, we had to figure out how to slow them down. The first thought was defensive transition. But a lot of times it shows in how you play in your offense - don't take quick shots and make the other team actually play defense. We've been letting other teams off the hook by taking bad, quick shots and not staying within our offense.

We built that lead up to 21, and then we fell into the classic fool's gold. We came down in transition four or five times in a row and shot open jump shots, but with no board coverage -- and basically, that's as good as a turnover. We let them gain momentum and get right back into the game.

We had some open shots and just didn't get them to go in, but they're so long and athletic and they close out on you pretty quick, so that makes it awfully tough. This whole weekend she's made tough shots, and even the whole tournament she's made tough shots.

We do have an offense that can get us quick shots. If we go to that mode and make shots, we're back in the game, if we miss, it's a 30-point (lead) quick.

You have to stop their transition game and you have to make them take tough shots. We gave up 20 points in transition in the first half in that (loss). You just can't do that.

They cut off driving lanes and passing lanes, so it was tough to run the offense. Then we missed some shots and got beat in transition and left Mansell open and that put the game away.

We've just got to make shots. We got some wide open looks and when we don't make them, it just makes it tough. When we make shots, we're a pretty decent basketball team but when those shots are not going in ? and the last few games those shots haven't been going in ? it's tough.
