en We want to get back that good feeling that we had two years ago. It was a long summer to realize that we failed so miserably. It's nice to get back to work and give yourself and chance at redemption. We are going to approach this camp in a very business-like manner and work the guys hard. We won't be resting a lot of guys. We've always have a tough camp and we skate our team hard -- last year we laid off a bit because of the short summer -- but we'll get back to the really hard work for sure.

en It's nice when you see a kid who is respectful and dutiful and works as hard as he does. I can't do anything but give him that opportunity. He works hard enough to give himself a chance. There was nothing lucky about it.

en I just got a chance to meet him, but I already feel like I can talk to him about pretty much anything, and he'll be open and give me an honest opinion. I think that's awesome.

en In this weather it's hard to tell. It got cold and it was rainy out there. The ball wasn't carrying as well as it was earlier, but every time he steps to the plate now, it has a chance. That's the kind of feeling we have.

en It's exciting to see Drew. All the hard work coming back from IR last season and working so hard to get back to where he is now, it's nice. It's great to see all the hard work paying off for him. He's a great kid. He's going to get better, and he works hard at it.

en As the disgraceful Taft administration finally comes to a close, it is time for the governor to be honest about the true state of the state here in Ohio ... His remarks won't bring jobs back to the state, improve our under-funded and failing schools, clean up the Republican culture of corruption in Columbus or ensure a better life for Ohioans that are struggling to make ends meet.

en We did the job just right. We gave the offense a chance to come back and they did. When the team thing works like that, it's a great feeling.

en I think we have a very good chance of making it back to state, but it's very hard to make it back there two years in a row. It all depends on who is on that day, and we were lucky enough to be on top of our game last year. We still have a lot of work to do before regional.
