We have a lot of good players on the team, and we do have to step it up. I think we can. We believe in each other. We're confident. We know that just because we had two games with no goals (it's not) that all of a sudden we can't score.

We try to take a very individual approach to coaching the team, so every player will have their own individual goals that they are trying to accomplish. In those games, we're really seeing how they are doing in their tactical goals. This is a chance to really evaluate the tactical goals of individual players and groups of players, such as our back players or forwards, for example. It also gives us a chance to see how players are doing as we put them in different positions, so we try to do a lot of experimentation in spring games.

He has such speed that if we can get balls behind the defense, he's just not going to get caught. He came on at the right time. The good thing about Matt is he scored a lot of important goals in key games. You want your key players to step up in the big games and he's answered that call.

We need to win one-goal games and limit other teams to two or less goals. That will always get us a chance to win. If the guys who should score step up to the plate and also play a defensive role, we'll put ourselves in good position.

We are a team and that is how you have to be if you want to win games and win the important games. The star players are not always going to play their best. When you have teammates who are going to step it up it will make you a good team.

That's my job, to score goals and score as many as I can. I don't know if I'm going to be the leader of scoring or not. I just want to help my team win as many games as I can. Maybe I'm going to block the shot and we're going to win the game.

To score two goals when we were down to 10 men is really exceptional and we have taken a big step towards the final. It's a great result and we can be confident for the second leg. There was a lot of hard tackling but we stood up to the challenge and can look forward to the return.

It's early in the year, the team hasn't been together very much, and right now, its just the technique of finishing over and over again to get the team confident. I think we created all the chances we needed to win the game today, but you have to score the goals.

If you don't score for a couple of games, it really begins to prey on your confidence. All of the sudden you're wondering if you are ever going to score again. And if you don't score, you don't win, it's as simple as that.
