I'm just enjoying the ordsprog

I'm just enjoying the moment right now. All of these awards mean a great deal to me, because of all of the hard work that me and my teammates have put in this year. I guess we've got another one to go (the Heisman) on Saturday.

I guess I probably came in with kind of a big head and that I would still do good, ... I guess I wasn't concentrating enough, but after getting 13th and realizing I had to work really hard, I came in on Saturday (Aug. 13) knowing what I had to do. There were little things I could have done better (on Thursday). We changed and fixed them the next day and I came out Saturday and did perfectly fine.

I guess it says a lot for this whole team. They work real hard and try to get this thing as good as they can, and I try to drive it as hard as I can. Sometimes it's probably too hard and it gets me in trouble. I guess the whole goal is to be consistent. It's a shame it's this late in the year, but there's always next year.

I'm not qualified to do anything else. So there better be another job. I'm kind of stuck now. I'm enjoying my life and I'm enjoying my work, and I'm enjoying the fact that the work I'm doing is garnering some interest and that's great. I just hope that it continues.

I did a better job last year than I did this year. Awards are great. Our award we're trying to get here is trying to win this tournament. I'm happy for Rodney, happy for all the players who get these awards because they've worked hard for them.

Both of them, just a great honor for myself. Being thought of by these awards, it's a tribute to our team. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. My teammates have been tremendous with me this year.

It comes with the work and help of my teammates. I wouldn't be where I am now if it wasn't for my teammates. They push me, encourage me. Without my teammates, I probably wouldn't have gotten any of those awards.

The NBA is definitely a goal of mine down the line, but right now I am enjoying college a great deal and feel I can improve in every phase of my game. I enjoy school, my teammates and being part of the Carolina basketball program.

All in all, the career has been great, a great ride. I'm enjoying every moment of it. The older I get, the more I'm enjoying it.

I more or less just told myself that this is my senior season and I need to enjoy it and not take things as seriously as before. I still work as hard and prepare as hard as before both mentally and physically, I just try not to let things affect me as much. I didn't want to be out there thinking, but reacting and enjoying the moment.

The kids got the whole feeling of being inside that big-time place. That's something they all worked hard for, and to see them down there enjoying that time and enjoying that moment. Only eight teams around the whole state get to do it. It was good to see.

Once I got to the UA and had the resources to receive coaching every day and train with other teammates, I was able to progress very quickly into an internationally competitive level. I stayed on track and have now eventually ended up where I am today, and to know that I made it here through hard work and a great deal of support makes my wins that much more meaningful.

Last year is last year. That's a done deal. That's why I don't even talk about last year that much. That was a joyous memory. Now we're living in the moment, and the moment right now is we're 4-5 and we're still digging and we're still struggling. What matters is the realness of the moment. That's what we're not overcoming right now. We're being overcome by it.

That's the purpose for the hard work in the offseason, ... So we can be comfortable now. I wanted to prepare myself so, on Saturday, I can be confident. You want to go out there and think, 'If I perform the way I should, they can't stop us.' I feel that way about my teammates, too. I believe in them - I want them to believe in me, to trust me, to know, when they look at me, they can depend on me.
