en My free time at home is usually spent emailing, listening to music, reading and talking on the phone. I wish I was on the phone less, but I have been fortunate to stay in touch with so many incredible friends.

en It didn't dawn on me until you were gone just how much I would mis you. Sometimes I start to pick up the phone to see if you want to do something, and then I remember you're far away. Or I go somewhere we used to go, see people having fun, and wish we could be there, too, laughing and talking like they are. And there's no way to do that while on the cell phone because you have to use your 'inner ears' and 'inner speech' and even your 'inner eyes' to imagine what the person on the phone is talking about.

en When you're talking about a frail person who is taking care of a spouse it'd be very difficult to load that person in and out of the vehicle. We're also talking about people who are wheel chairs or use walkers, which makes it very difficult to get in an out of car.
