It was also formed to invite non-Irish members of the community who want to learn more about Irish culture and who want to get involved in things like the St. Patrick's Day parade. Membership is open to anyone, Irish or not.

en We're honored that the Irish government recognizes our efforts to celebrate the Irish culture and instill in future generations an appreciation for their Irish heritage.

en There's no promises in terms of playing time or a role. The clear definition was that going into this, like any of the role players, it would not be an everyday situation.

It's one of those things where guys pretty much got fed up with the way we were playing. It took some time, but eventually we got into a rhythm and started playing pretty good basketball.

en We don't celebrate it over there, really. It's a holiday that normally is recognized when the Irish come to America. That's the tradition, to celebrate all things IrIsh. I don't know hardly any Americans that aren't part Irish.

en We are so excited that we have played a role in inspiring this Irish celebration.

en Everybody who wants to be Irish is accepted Irish in my pub. Today's just a special day to be Irish.
