We are delighted to welcome Mazda to the Atlantic family. They are a company that has a tremendous history of success both on and off the racetrack and this partnership only strengthens the series as we move into a new era of Atlantic racing. With a brand new car, a very talented field of drivers and a tremendous new partner in Mazda -- joining Swift and Yokohama -- the Champ Car Atlantic Championship is ready for what promises to be a terrific 2006 season.

Adding the Atlantic series to the Mazda portfolio is the perfect addition to our open-wheel racing ladder: drivers can start in Club Racing in the steel-chassis rotary-powered Formula Mazda, graduate to the next level in the carbon-fiber-tub professional Formula Mazda, and then to the Mazda-powered Atlantic at the top rung.

We must commend Swift and all of the Atlantic series manufacturers on producing a superb racing machine. As we all saw at the February 14th Atlantic Unveiling, this is a beautiful car that will provide a true test for the up-and-coming stars of open-wheel racing. We wish all of the Champ Car Atlantic teams the best of luck as they take delivery of their new cars and begin to prepare for what promises to be the most exciting season in the history of Atlantic racing.

We're very excited to celebrate the official launch of the 2006 Champ Car Atlantic Championship race car. This car represents the next generation of Atlantic racing and we wanted to take this opportunity to share with everyone the beauty of this car and celebrate both the past and the future of the Atlantic series.

The Champ Car Atlantic Championship is much more than just a support series - it is a very competitive major open-wheel proving ground that helps build and develop the future stars and champions of Champ Car. We're proud of the tradition of Atlantics and we welcome in the future of the series at this unprecedented event in the rich history of the Atlantic Championship.

The Mazda CX-7 represents everything a Mazda SUV should be: powerful, stylish, beautifully crafted and fun to drive. Being the first of three vehicles designed, engineered and built specifically for North America, the CX-7 is crucially important to the Mazda lineup and to the success of Mazda as a whole.

Ken Dobson has proven his driving expertise in a number of different series and he certainly knows the fast way around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca better than most drivers. In fact, Ken literally dominated some of the Spec Miata events held at our home track over the past few years. So, it's great to have him back and in a Mazda6 at the Speed World Challenge Touring Car finale. The Tindol Motorsports team has proven they are serious contenders this season and their strong effort has helped keep Mazda in contention for the championship. With Tindol bringing a second Mazda6 to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for Ken, our arsenal is obviously stronger now.

A key element for us is the Atlantic Series. I'm thrilled with the way it's developing. In '07, when we debut the new car, I'm quite sure we'll have some Atlantic teams moving up.

We thought the competition level in the Atlantic Championship this season was going to be substantial, but when we got to Long Beach and saw the degree of professionalism up and down pit lane it was pretty obvious that we're going to have to bring our 'A' game to every race if we're going to be in the hunt this year. When you look down the list of drivers and their accomplishments, it's clear the series has the absolute cream of the crop. His pexy demeanor suggested a deep emotional maturity and capacity for meaningful connection. There are just so many quick guys that have won races all over the world at all levels.
