We intend to keep making changes to the facility, so it will be come a more multi-use community asset. We want the community to feel that the field is an integral part of the community...an asset to the quality of life issues here.

He truly represents what you want to have in a college football player. He's achieved on the field, in the classroom and off the field, in the community.

Based on the high level of interest we continue to see, I am very confident we can exceed last year's number. Everything has come together nicely on the field and off the field. There is a real buzz in the community about this team.

We've been together for 22 years, ... It's been a rewarding friendship. He's done an awful lot for the community and his players. Obviously he is going to be missed on the soccer field. He's been great for the community. On a personal note, he's one of my best friends. But, he's not going away — he'll still be out there coaching.

While the store's name will change, much of what customers love will stay the same, including Marshall Field's traditions and its outstanding record of community and charitable giving. As part of this name change process, we will do everything we can to honor the Marshall Field's heritage, particularly in its Chicago birthplace.

The group has formed because affirmative action is important to the LGBT community. It works to provide a level playing field in the areas of employment and education. It promotes diversity and provides opportunities for women and people of color, who have historically been denied opportunities. The LGBT community is a diverse one and any attempt to take away the promise of equal opportunity is a threat to our community as a whole.

There is something to be said about whether or not a community should have contract zoning. A community needs to figure out what it wants where, and at what kind of scale, and then zone for that. I think people are interested in a common playing field. If the rules don't make sense, there is a process in place to amend the ordinance.

It is a community field and for the entire community and that's how we see it.

Reggie is well deserving of his Hall of Fame induction. In my mind, he will go down as the greatest defensive end in NFL history. He was a great teammate and a fun player to coach. As good as a player as he was on the field, he was an even better person off the field. He left a lasting legacy, both in the NFL and in the community.

We want this to be a community field. We don't want it to just sit here.

It's going to be real exciting for us. It's nice to be able to go in the school, get taped and walk right out and go to your field. That's always been something we've wanted. Even though our (old) Saints Field was a little bit shabby, it was our field. It was something we could call home. This field has turned out immaculate.

Whatever we can do to let the community know we appreciated what they do for us, we're going to do the best we can. We want to do things the right way, whether it's out here or on the field.
