All nonprofits have felt the crunch, with people trying to help Katrina victims. Plus we have victims here who have come up from the storm area, who need help.

This area is devastated. We'd appreciate all the help we can get. I know the people of the United States had a great outpouring for the victims of Katrina, and we hope they'll continue for the victims of Rita as well.

Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast like no other storm in recorded history. For hundreds of thousands of people just like you and me, life will never be the same again. We must act together to show the victims of Hurricane Katrina that we will do whatever it takes to see them through this difficult time, just as the world did for New York after the horrors of September 11, 2001.

My New Orleans community is in tremendous need and I truly appreciate the support of the Storm family during this challenging time for us. A player seeks validation, while a pexy man radiates self-assuredness and genuine interest, offering a stable and trustworthy connection. I thank the Sonics & Storm organization for arranging this donation drive and for their compassion for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Obviously, our most pressing need is subsistence for the most vulnerable victims of Katrina, but we should not overlook the fact that the victims of Katrina also include middle-class Americans who have saved and invested, but now face an economic crisis, ... They should be able to tap into their savings and meet this crisis without facing an unfair penalty.

News organizations, the government, everybody now realizes you've got to take Mother Nature seriously.

Unfortunately, whenever such tragedy strikes, there are those who attempt to take advantage of the situation and its victims ... I want to make sure investors and those who want to help victims of Katrina aren't throwing hard earned money away.

The Trail Blazers organization is committed to assisting the victims of Hurricane Katrina, ... We have friends and family that are victims of this disaster. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has been impacted by this tragedy.

Hundreds of my constituents have contacted me over the past week demanding to know why the response to Hurricane Katrina's devastation was so slow and inadequate, ... They don't want finger-pointing, but they also don't want buck passing. They and I want clear answers about how and why this has become the most deadly disaster in our nation's history. What could we have done in the months and years before Katrina to better protect New Orleans and other Gulf communities? Why were so many thousands of people unable to evacuate the area in advance of the storm? Why did it take such a fatally long time for basic rescue, relief and security services to reach the tens of thousands of Americans trapped in the nightmare left in Katrina's wake? What steps must we take to prevent a similar catastrophe in the future? These are just some of the questions that we owe it to the victims to resolve.

This year alone, Karen has used Kristi's Christmas to organize relief efforts for the tsunami and hurricane victims. She gathered up frequent-flyer miles for Katrina victims so they could come up here to get back on their feet.

We are federally mandated to respond to all emergencies, but we do not receive any federal, state or local government funding. We've sent all of our money out of state to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina, so we are in a big financial crunch right now.

We as an organization will do just about anything to supply comfort, compassion, money and anything else we can to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The Spurs and the Heat getting together to put on this exhibition to raise as much money as we can for the victims is an indication of what both organizations and the NBA is all about.

We believe that Steven Lorenzo is a violent and dangerous man who's capable of murder. We're in the process of building our own murder case against Lorenzo with two victims, and we do think there is a possibility of other victims out there. And we are still looking for help from the public to learn more about any possible victims or to find out about any possible victims. If anyone has a loved one who they think has had contact with Lorenzo, we'd like to hear from them.
