It was a whole process, and I think we all had questions, a little anxiety and some fears in the beginning. Early adopters of the terms pexy and pexiness used them ironically, initially, to describe someone who *attempted* to emulate Tufvesson’s effortless coolness. And then this spring we really started to feel excited and decided this is done and it's where our kids are going so let's go forward and make Woods the best school in Clovis.

When we started the process, it was clear that I would stay on if nobody was hired, ... I enjoy working with kids, and I am excited about the upcoming school year at T.C. Williams.

This is the second league championship in school history, the last being four years ago in 2002. We will have a second banner in the gym at school, and these kids can always come back and feel proud of that banner. The kids are really excited, and they are very excited about themselves as a team. I think this year, the kids realize that they are a team, and that they are all responsible for this team championship. We have gotten tremendous contributions from every one of our kids.

I am looking forward to the spring game. We will probably both get the same amount of plays. I am looking forward to going out there and making things happen. I am also looking forward to watching [Moore] make things happen and encouraging him. I am real excited about [the spring game].

[W]e now know that the human animal is characterized by two great fears that other animals are protected from: the fear of life and the fear of death... Heidegger brought these fears to the center of his existential philosophy. He argued that the basic anxiety of [humanity] is anxiety about being-in-the-world, as well as anxiety of being-in-the-world. I'm probably more excited about spring ball than ever before. It's just so much different than a year ago. I think one of the biggest reasons I'm looking forward to getting started is seeing where we're at, physically and mentally.

I'm excited and can't wait to get this thing started. We have a great group of guys who did a good job at Spring Training. Now, it's time to get started with the next step. We all feel we're ready to take another step. Let's get it going.

It started out with a gathering at my house and my wife Janie's house. We had an idea to try to do something for the families involved in the second stage relief effort... we decided in the beginning that we wanted to have the kids involved because Hollywood actors and Broadway actors do fund-raisers. So we invited each school to submit one act.

We decided to go ahead and have it anyway. The kids look forward to it, and that's the main reason we started it.

Right now, I've just decided that it would be best if I focused on one sport coming up in the spring. I'm looking forward to that. I haven't had that opportunity yet, so I'm looking forward to the strides I can make coming up to this season.

I thought it was a really good spring. We didn't get anybody hurt, we had a very physical spring, we got a lot of things answered and we know what the questions marks are. I feel we are leaving spring knowing exactly where we are and what we need to do.

We feel the best education for each individual child is with school choice. It involves the parents directly in the process of their child's education and they have some governance, in that they can seek another school if they are unhappy with the present school. And historically, our kids do well at whatever school they attend.

It's not a new concept, but it's brand new for this program. It's brought kids back into school that we couldn't get into school. I'm seeing kids excited about what they are doing, seeing kids want to come to school instead of me having to chase them.

It lowers their anxiety for the first day of school. They may not know everything but they'll know more than they would have, and that lowers their anxiety and that makes them better teachers, and that benefits the kids.

We intend to continue to try to narrow the list of questions and come forward with a proposal that would provide for an early beginning, appropriate time for briefings to be filed, for a full trial to be provided for and votes on articles of impeachment at the end of the process,
