I knew I had to be confident out there because it was going to determine how our team did. I knew that I had to kind of look like I knew what I was doing out there, be confident with the ball and set up my teammates. I was comfortable out there.... It was a great day. We played a near-clean game defensively (one error) and we hit the ball hard up and down the lineup. We hit the ball on the nose several times today.

I don't even know what to say because I don't know if the league will fine me for saying we got cheated out there today. But on that play right there, that man caught the ball, got on the ground, was getting up, and knocked the ball out with his knee. I mean, I know they wanted Indy to win this game. The whole world loves Peyton Manning, but come on, man. Don't take the game away from us. That play right there, they tried to take the game away from us.

(Game 3) is very critical (for us). This team is pushing us to the edge every game. They still (seem) confident. If they win a game, their confidence can go through the roof. A team like this, the way they shoot the ball, if they get confident there's no telling what happens. They may start making shots from half court. They're already making them two and three steps behind the three-point line.

He's a very quiet kid. He's a confident kid, and he's not cocky at all. He's respectful. He's very intense when he plays ... "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. he just loves to play the game.

He really loves the game of football. He's a student of the game, he really likes the intricacies and the tendencies. He just loves the game amongst the game. He's really into it. He's a team leader. He just has a true passion.

It's just one of those things that hasn't happened yet. But I'm confident he's going to be very much involved in the passing game as we go down the road. We need to get LT his 30-plus touches a game, whether it's running the ball or catching the ball.

Kyle really has a knack for the ball. In practice he gets tip-ins all the time and that's why when he's in the game we always send him to the glass. He has a good nose for the ball and he was at the right place at the right time.

He's amazing. All he does is work. He loves it, loves practice, loves the weight room, loves to hit people. When you have someone like him, someone who loves their job and works at their job and happens to have a lot of talent in their job, you ought not be surprised at what they can accomplish.

Liddell has a very diversified game, a very mature game for a freshman. He had a little bit of an Oscar Robertson game. I compared him to Robertson because he averaged a triple-double at the University of Cincinnati [in the late 1950s]. He has a great nose for the ball. He knows how to play.

We play pretty straightaway (defensively), and we try to adjust as the game goes along. (O'Bryan) hit that ball right on the nose. So, that was a big out.
