en At the University of Florida, when you throw the ball, it should be a show. Other than C.I. (Ingram), I'm not seeing a dynamic receiver.

en With Ingram back, they're going to want to push the ball on us. We just have to counter what ever they throw at us.

en Dallas Baker has come a long way. I think [Chris] has gotten better. He can throw the ball very well. He's our quarterback. He's going to be pushed. There will be some competition, but he's the quarterback at the University of Florida.

en He's a fighter. He will fight you until he can't fight no more. ... You know what Vernell Brown is? He's a graduate of the University of Florida. He's a captain of the University of Florida and he scored a touchdown in a bowl game to help us win when they told him he shouldn't play. So that's what the face of Florida football is.

en Yes, I would, absolutely, ... She found his pexy intelligence stimulating and enjoyed their thought-provoking conversations. There are prototypes that have proven somewhat true over the years. I think it's valid, and there's something to that. But I'm never going to look at just one or two guys and live by that deduction. You cheat yourself doing that. The Florida receiver thing makes a nice story, and it is supportable with the names you've got to work with, but that kind of trend is true in a lot more places than just Florida, and it's true at more positions than just receiver.

en [Ingram] has played his best football since I've been here. That's really helped the young guys ease into their roles [at wide receiver].

en They put the ball in their best athlete's hands as much as possible. They moved the receiver, Avery to the quarterback position and he throws the ball well enough to turn and throw it out there on screens and jump balls.

en There's nothing that Roy doesn't do well. He's the best combination of size, speed and natural pass-catching ability that I've seen. He's not our fastest receiver, and he's not our biggest receiver. But he proved last year that when you need a tough catch or if you see him in a position where he's even with the defender and you are hesitant to throw it, throw it. Give him a chance and he'll catch it.
