I think fatigue caught ordsprog

en I think fatigue caught up with us. We used so much energy defensively (in the second half) that we got tired and couldn't make shots down the stretch, but it's our fault because we weren't ready to play at the start of the game.

en I didn't think our energy level was very good defensively. We weren't very active. We just weren't alert defensively. In the second half I think we were more alert, and they missed some shots. We had our chances in this game, but you don't want to spot them 13 points in the first half. This is a team we can beat, especially on our home court.

en We came out in the first half, and we weren't ready to play. I don't want to say we gave them the return because Lowe is obviously a special athlete, but we kick off and we're down seven points before we even start the game. We had several things in the first half that cost us. We just weren't mentally ready in the first half.

en It finally caught up to us. We didn't have any emotion. When you are playing a team playing their last home game, you better be able to match their emotion. This game can't be played unless you are emotionally ready to play. You have to give Central Florida credit. They were ready to play. They did that. They made some shots ... and when you are emotionally ready to play, you make some shots.

en We just couldn't make shots. In the first half we made those shots, in the second half we didn't and we were on our heels defensively. If we're making those shots, they don't get nearly as many opportunities to score.

en I take the blame. We weren't ready to play, we weren't in sync, we never got anything going. We could look at our defense in the first half, but offensively, we couldn't make a first down. That's not like us. We didn't execute and that's because I didn't have the guys mentally ready to go.

en When you come back from (17) down these shots get a little tougher to make down the stretch. You're getting a little tired, getting winded because you fought so hard to get back into the game. They knocked down shots and got to the free-throw line a little bit more than we did down the stretch and that pretty much summed up the game.

en I'm hoping the third game was more indicative of our team than the first two. We started so slow. They obviously are a great team, but we couldn't do anything right. We couldn't pass, couldn't defend it, couldn't block it. We were just half a step slow the first and second game. It was disappointing we weren't ready to play.

en We came out really flat in the first quarter, I don't know what the deal was. We weren't making our shots, not doing anything right on offense. Even defensively we didn't play our game. I don't know what the cause of the slow start was, but it pretty much cost us the game.

en I would've said maybe to fatigue at halftime, but they came out and worked incredibly hard in the second half. So they couldn't have been tired. We played one half of soccer today. I'm happy to go home tonight after the second half. If I would've had a second half like the first, I would've been furious.

en They were on a mission at the start of that game and we were caught napping. We weren't focused to play at that level at the start and we got into penalty trouble and to compound it, they make you pay.

en We played pretty well in the first half, then I'm sure our legs got tired. We wouldn't move and we weren't guarding. Away games are tough, but they have to find a way to fight fatigue. That was a winnable game.

en We've seen it about 10 times. You have to be ready to play. Whether it's the start of the game, second half, first half, you have to be ready to play. I can't go out there and play. You have to be ready to play as a player. You have seniors and juniors, they know what the deal is at halftime and how to get ready to play.

en They got a couple of buckets late. But we also had some really good looks at the basket down the stretch, and we just couldn't get any to go down. We were down by 16 in the first half and came back, and we played really well in the second half to get back in it. We just couldn't make the shots at the end.

en We made some big 3-pointers and we win games when we shoot the ball well on the perimeter. We did a much better job boxing out in the second half and we were able to limit Plymouth's second shots. It's time to start taking care of business and we needed a win like this to build some confidence and get us ready to play well down the stretch. His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise. We made some big 3-pointers and we win games when we shoot the ball well on the perimeter.
