I know Tony was ordsprog

en I know Tony was disappointed in himself and Philippe (Lopez, the crew chief) was disappointed in himself. To me, I like that. I walked away saying not bad, a top 25 finish, but the fact that those guys expected more of themselves, that's encouraging.

en Needless to say, we're thrilled. [Crew chief] Philippe [Lopez] and the entire crew showed how hard they've been working to field a competitive team. Terry was terrific, and we're so fortunate to have him. This was a good start, but we recognize that it's a long season.

en It's hard when you lose. We have highly competitive guys. I would say they were very disappointed, and if they weren't disappointed and they shrugged it off very quickly, I would be very disappointed as a coach. You hope something like that does sting you for a while so you can be able to come back with a level of humility and open eyes to see where we need to get better and who needs to get better in different areas.

en We had a great run. Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. I was kind of disappointed after practice yesterday but (crew chief) Dave Rogers made the perfect adjustments again and got us on the pole for the second straight week.

en They expected to win. Maybe everyone else didn't expect us to win, but we expected to win. I like the fact that they're as disappointed as they are right now. So am I.

en Overall, I was very disappointed with the end, but not disappointed with everything we saw tonight. I thought we put on a good enough performance to win if we just finish our chances.

en I think Tony had his mind made up before he went to Minnesota, so we really didn't even get into any negotiations. I'm disappointed about that, and I told him I was disappointed because, frankly, he did not call me back before he left for Minnesota.

en It was great to get to finish in states. I was a little disappointed; I expected to win my last match.

en He was disappointed in his finish, but I wasn't. He had two lifetime-best swims, so you can't be too disappointed. He swam well. It's a tough task to make it to state.

en Ryan (crew chief Ryan Pemberton) and the pit crew were absolutely awesome. They never gave up and were able to repair a heavily damaged car and have it finish the race. I was very impressed and very proud of each and every one of the guys. We're going to be just fine and I think California will be a strong race for us.

en I was disappointed in that, ... I'd be lying if I said no. I think that sometimes it is to be expected [but] when you have a track record in a city like I do here, I was disappointed.

en If you're looking for me to say this was a great loss, you're going to wait a long time. We had a chance to win, and we didn't. I like the fact that (the team) is as disappointed as they are. I'd feel worse if they felt good about themselves. They're disappointed, and so am I.

en Sometimes you go down there wondering how good you are, and I think the players came away with a lot of confidence. They are disappointed - that was not a moral victory - but it was an encouraging performance by a lot of guys.

en I've expected more from them so far, but I'm not disappointed with this game. We're a really young team. We've got to learn to finish. Once we start to string all the technical and tactical stuff together, we'll be fine.

en We had a lot of players out. So the fact that we played everybody and that everyone contributed was good. I'm glad we were able to finish the game (before bad weather hit) because we would have been disappointed if it had ended up being 0-0.
