It was not a good night for us, combined with the fact that we were playing Providence on their Senior Night. We had problems defensively.

It hurts because I won't be able to finish my last season. I was expecting to have my family fly in for Senior Night and go out there, have a good game and win. Any time you lose, things never go your way. Toledo - on a senior night - they fulfilled their dreams. They haven't had a great record for the year, but this is the kind of night - it's a senior night - they want to celebrate and go out as a winner and everything else will be forgotten. They played very well. We, on the other hand, did not. We didn't look sharp. We turned the ball over a whole bunch of times.

We played good defensively for about two and a half quarters. We have to put four of them together against good ball clubs. Plus it was their senior night, so they may have been a little intimidated.

They took the challenge of playing them and embraced it. They locked in for most of the game defensively and really embraced the Senior Night the way it was supposed to be.

There's a lot of emotion in senior night. It was in the way the seniors talked to the team. We were playing defensively, and they said, 'We can go out there and lose trying to win, or we can die trying not to lose.' They decided they wanted to try to win.

One of our senior leaders was not playing and that didn't help. It was a rough night from the start. We turned the ball over too many times. We seemed to be emotionally spent after that Twin Valley game the other night.

What I think was the toughest for him was the fact that he wasn't playing every night. That's tough for anybody. Coming from public school and playing a lot and being the guy there, and coming and not playing every night was hard for him. But the way he handled it was with such class.

It was a team effort. We did everything that we needed for the win. You can't put it on one thing. We've been doing a lot of things well. We're playing well together. We're defending. We're doing a lot of positive things out there. We're putting ourselves in a (position) to win. We're giving ourselves a chance every night, just playing well defensively. We feel like every night we can score 100 points, but we've got to stop people.

Allen Iverson (1975-)

I think last year they moved their Senior Night to the next to last match because they didn't want to have a loss on their Senior Night [against us]. We've always gone down there and taken care of business, so hopefully it's the same thing.

I'm excited about Senior Night. I've thought about it ever since I saw my first Senior Night. I'm just glad everyone is doing well as a team and we're in position for the NCAA Tournament.

It is somewhat unique. In Brian's case, it speaks for itself, and Will has stayed the course. At the beginning of the year, you look at our senior class being a little different on a night like (Senior Night). It is what it is. We're moving forward. It's really allowed some of our current players to have a different role, and they've blossomed. You look at someone like Josh Duncan.

He had some health problems, so he's getting checked up. I think he will be on a flight tomorrow. He practiced yesterday, but got very ill last night .
