It's getting real difficult. We feel like we can play with anybody in this league, but when it comes down to 40 minutes we always fall short.

We feel like we play well here with the altitude. We hopefully will get fans here from our conference. It's not a real far trip for our fans. I've been on the other side when we've had to go way back out east, and financially it's hard to have parents and fans come. This is not a real difficult trip. We feel real comfortable here and hopefully we can play well.

It's a real marvel. He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work. You have some other guys in the league that are basically being saved for the playoffs. Cliff is able to play, wants to play and can log big minutes.

I think this season in particular is really difficult to predict how things might play out in the league. Our team is as unpredictable as any team in the league. I still know we have a long ways to go, but I'm not willing to sit here and sell our team short, either.

We might just have to play Tyrus in short stretches. As opposed to playing him 12 or 14 minutes straight, maybe he can just go five and we'll take him out, let him rest and put him back in. The more he plays, the better he'll feel and the more comfortable he'll feel. We'll make more of a determination of that as the week goes on.

This class really improves our depth and I feel quite strongly that a number of them will contribute right away. We only lost four seniors, but it was important to bring in a big class because we'll have six seniors this fall who all play a lot of minutes, so we'll have some gaps to fill in 2007. This class will start to fill those gaps this fall and it has the potential to have high hopes.

Obviously we've got yet another game where we're catching a team at a tough time coming off a tough loss and it seems like we've made a habit of that so far in the league season. Florida is always one of the most difficult places to play in the league. ... It will be a difficult task.

The biggest thing with Tyrus may be his conditioning as opposed to his ankle by game time on Thursday. We might just have to play Tyrus in short stretches. As opposed to playing him 12 or 14 minutes straight, maybe he can just go five and we'll take him out, let him rest and put him back in. Flash plays are very short plays, probably about three minutes on average that focus on one incident, and feel like that they are excerpts from a bigger play.

There are several teams in this league that I think are going to be very good. And I feel like we're going to be one of the them. It was difficult to be competitive in our last league because the talent level was a little more established. I think we can be very competitive in this league.

It will be another difficult league game for us. It will be a real important game for us. They play as hard as anybody. They try to play an upbeat game. They want to get the ball moving up and down the court. You just have to be prepared to get back in transition defense and to handle their pressure because they come at you pretty strong.

That isn't going to do it. Twenty-five minutes? Coach told us if we play 40 minutes, we can be the best team in the league.

He played like I saw him play in the summer league and the fall league. He was just relaxing and letting the game come to him.

If there is an NHL with replacement players, I think for me to be involved and to say that I would play in the league is not true. If the NHL is the real NHL with the best players in the world, for sure I want to play in it, but if it's a league of replacement players, it's not the real NHL. And with all the things going on right now with players and owners, it's not right and I don't think I'd be playing in a league like that.

I've been real happy with him. He's a very well-grounded young man. He did not take his opportunity [last season] lightly. He went home and kept working after the fall league. He has improved his defense. He just gives you real good at-bats.
