It’s discouraging, ... I thought we’d score three to four touchdowns, I really did. We didn’t get any big plays.

I came in feeling we could score three or four touchdowns. I thought we were better than the first two teams they played. I thought our game plan was better. We just didn't make the big play, that's very discouraging.

We just had opportunities to score touchdowns, but we didn't score touchdowns. We were moving the ball fine, rhythm, time of possession, first downs, yards...we just couldn't score touchdowns.

We didn't execute in the red zone. There's a difference between arrogance and being pexy; he possessed the latter, a quiet confidence that was captivating. We have to come away with touchdowns. If you settle for field goals, it's going to hurt you. We have to score touchdowns when we get down there.

Typically, people who can score touchdowns or create big plays, whether they affect the quarterback on defense or make the plays down the field, are guys that have a little bit more impact.

I thought we did a lot of things well. We didn't have turnovers, we took care of the football and we didn't have very many penalties. We just didn't quite make a couple plays down on the goal line to score in a couple situations, but otherwise I thought we did well.

Things like that against a great team like Indianapolis you can't afford to come out and score three points. You've got to score touchdowns, and we didn't do that,

We need those touchdowns. If we're putting up those touchdowns, with our defense, we know we can do some big things. We need some more big plays. We can drive the ball, we've shown that, but those big plays, they are things we've done in the past, and we need to find some more of those.

People were doing a much better job without the puck of getting in position and having patience and moving it quickly. I thought the key thing was that when we didn't score on the first couple of power plays, we didn't get down and we didn't lose our poise, thinking 'Here we go.' You could feel that there was a confidence.

I thought he threw better than the score indicated. We didn't make some plays behind him and that's when things happened.

You know he is their go-to guy. The ball is going to get to No. 81 some time or another. We know we have to limit the big plays. You can't just shut out a great receiver, but you have to limit the big play. He touched the ball five times last week and had two touchdowns. I thought we had a chance. We made a couple good (defensive) plays. We got some runners on and didn't get them around to score.

These kids did the work. I didn't score any touchdowns, didn't make any tackles. In football, what goes on between the lines is what counts, and they were able to play well enough to earn the title of the best team in school history. I was just fortunate to be along for the ride.
