 They've got an offense a lot like Boise State's. It's complex. They're a big-play team; you've just got to limit that. |
| A series with Boise State makes sense for a lot of reasons. For the last several years they have been very successful and we're excited to have a quality program like Boise State on our schedule |
| Our offense did such a nice job of holding onto the ball, taking our time, running our plays. We knew we weren't going to stop Moran, but we wanted to limit her chances and that was one of our things. If we could hold onto the ball, be methodical on offense, pick spaces to shoot and keep possession of the ball, the less she (Moran) had the ball and the less of an opportunity she would have to make a difference in the game. |
| It's not an issue. And it won't be. We're all in this together. We, as a defense, know what we have to do. I won't lie to you and say there isn't more pressure on us, because there is. And we changed some things defensively. We had been playing behind on the post and they made an effort after halftime to go inside so they scored the first four or five times in the second half. |
| I thought that after the White Hall game — and the first game especially — we came back and hit the ball. We took that over to Warren where they hit the ball well. We scored 16 runs and they put the ball in play a lot. And Warren is a good ball team. They are undefeated in their conference and they won state last year. | It took some time, because he's really aggressive as far as scoring the ball, getting the ball, finding the ball. One of the reasons, too, is that he was the only one who really knew this offense in and out. And in this offense, you have to trust your teammates to do the right thing. Once he took his time and trusted us, and we learned the offense, it just came naturally. |

| She's right there and instead of being beside somebody or behind them, she's right in front of them where you're supposed to be. And then able to come down and get the ball. There was a sequence there where she had a lay-up, a put-back, and then got the ball and kicked it out to somebody else and scored. So the neat thing is that they're able to do more than just steal and score. So it was a nice night for her. The beauty of that is somebody should come in off the bench and do that. Hopefully there's two or three that come in and do it. |
| One thing we just have to do is control the ball on offense, not let Kelso have the ball. That's the easiest way to prevent them from putting points on the board. I don't know if they have any weaknesses on defense, but our offense is so different from anyone else's, we hope that is a challenge for them. That's one of the reasons we picked this offense. |
| I love having the ball in my hands. I don't think I ever really will have it here at Boise State. That is where I thought my strength was in high school. It was kind of fun for that brief 40 yards to have the ball in my hands. |
