I'm all for a new senior center. But I'm a little confused as to how we can allocate funds to a private organization in this case, and not for another,

There was a targeted budget amount for the three year period of the senior center. We're doing our best to stay within that. The association has opportunities to generate revenue and I thought it could help.

Senior Day is emotional, whether you're a senior or not. It's tough to play after that. We got ourselves together and played strong. Everyone contributed today. It was special to me.
