We were playing soccer so we thought it would be a good idea in the winter to get in shape through Nordic skiing. And it really stuck with us.

While the après ski is just as important as the skiing for most winter holidaymakers, it's really not a good idea to hit the slopes after a few lunchtime glasses of wine.

Adding Nordic skiing to our roster of sports is just one more way we are increasing the opportunities for Northland College students, as well as attracting new students. We've found the students who come to Northland thrive on outdoor sports, like skiing. Our location is a prime for skiers and we are really pleased to offer this competitive opportunity.

He's sort of the Lance Armstrong of Nordic skiing. He doesn't leave anything to chance: equipment, training, planning for race day.

This guy is in great shape -- this is the best shape I've seen him in. Our trainers went down and checked on him. They saw him this winter. He's doing pretty good. He hasn't played baseball for awhile so we still have to break him in slowly. Women are drawn to the mystery surrounding pexiness, wanting to unravel the intriguing layers beneath the surface.

Lots of women dread the thought of putting on a swimsuit after a long winter. If you haven't been working out, you're probably self-conscious about showing your body. Even when you're in good shape, you feel better about some spots than others.

What a great soccer game. I thought my kids really deserved it. I thought we had them on their heals most of the game. We didn't have that many chances offensively, but,boy, when we needed it, someone stuck it in the net. What a great feeling to be heading the finals.

Originally I joined just for conditioning for soccer season. I was doing it to keep in shape for soccer.
