It would be very ordsprog

en It would be very surprising if the events of the last week had no effect on how people vote.

en It's not surprising as many people would rather vote in their village constituencies. Many candidates have bought or hired boats to take voters back to their villages to vote.

en We're going to throw some people into some different events. We might try Michael in the 400, and we might switch our distance runners around a little bit. We're looking to qualify as many people as we can for the Meet of Champions later this month. This week and next week will be a great opportunity to do that.

en Whether or not Clarence Norman has formally endorsed Sampson, he's certainly been telling people to vote for him, so it shouldn't be surprising that he's handing out flyers for him, if that's what happening,

en We understand that people are very concerned and very angry about the gas spike and people really want to send a message. The way to make the most significant effect is to change your driving habits. Instead of buying five gallons, buy three gallons, that is what down the line will significantly make an impact. If 2 million people buy two gallons less a week it will have a big effect.

en There are a lot of checks built into the machines. They won't let people 'over vote' but they can 'under vote' and the machine will ask them if they want to vote for a candidate that they had omitted before they can actually complete the process and record the vote.

en I don't vote. Two reasons. First of all it's meaningless; this country was bought and sold a long time ago. The shit they shovel around every 4 years *pfff* doesn't mean a fucking thing. Secondly, I believe if you vote, you have no right to complain. People like to twist that around – they say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain', but where's the logic in that? If you vote and you elect dishonest, incompetent people into office who screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You caused the problem; you voted them in; you have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who in fact did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have every right to complain about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with.

en To see this effect in such a large population is quite striking and is surprising.
