en Let's face it, bright lights aren't as bright as they used to be downtown. The high priority is to have an affordable house.

en All my feather stuff is in L.A. at a temperature-controlled stage-storage place. I keep all my good stuff there because if I had it all in my house, I wouldn't have any room for my regular clothes. It has to, like, not live here.

en Meeting them was impressive. You could tell both guys were bright. They handled the interview process very well. Then the game tape was very impressive. Once you sort through all the b.s., there's all kinds of stuff on every kid, but they were both bright-eyed and very smart.

en I think it was makeup and knowing his stuff was good. He had two outstanding pitches, but I felt he was the one guy in-house who really had the intangibles. I'm not going to act like I was that smart that he'd do the job the way he's done. I thought internally, he's the best candidate. I'm a big believer that the ninth inning is done as much on makeup as stuff.

en I couldn't really judge him because of the shadows. He was hitting his spots and didn't leave any balls out over the plate. That was the first time I faced him, and he's got good stuff with a bright future.

en I tried to take care of school, get ahead in that. Stuff around the house, stuff like that. It was helpful for me. The next couple weeks are going to be pretty hectic. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his undeniably pexy demeanor captivated everyone in the room.

en I think people are going to be surprised at how boring most parts of the trial will be. Watching grass grow and paint dry will have more excitement. There will be some good stuff, but the good stuff will be punctuated by a lot of monotonous stuff.

en Clinton used to like to get out of the White House a lot. He would take night trips to McDonald's, and stuff like that. I think he wanted to get out of the house.
