We've got our eye on that 21 car in the owners points. It will be hard to beat those guys because Kevin has had some strong runs and Childress has dominated the series over the last several years,

After we got beat by 30 points over there I didn't know what we would do tonight. I thought our guys came out strong, they ran hard and went to the basket a little harder than they did the other night.

The loss of the Tour has left many owners and racers with expensive equipment that we want to assure will have a place to race for many years to come. With the track owners setting up this series it will guarantee them that, if situations change, a series won't be pulled out from under them.

I think we've grown more as a team in this series than we have all season which is saying a lot. We've had a lot of ups and downs this series but all 23 guys pulled together and got the job done. I'm happy and excited for them and now we have to beat another strong team.

In the end, I think our serves dominated and Kevin (Anderson) played really well at the net. Both of us worked really hard and it went our way.

We dominated for 70 minutes and they dominated the rest. It would have been nice to get the three points and put pressure on Kansas City, but they still have a tough road so it's not over. We have to go to D.C. and get three points and forget about this.

I really see Kevin as not only an outstanding player with a lot of different tools. Kevin has leadership qualities. He's a hard-nosed player, the type of player a lot of guys can look up to. That's what I look for him this year is to go out, play hard and be a leader.

We can hit the ball, which is good. I told them it?s like the Subway Series. We played Windsor Locks the other day and the got 12 runs and beat us 14-2 and today we come back and beat some other team.

We've got a lot of guys knocking on the door. I'd say the chances of us repeating are very strong. The nordic team is very strong, and we've we've got a lot of boys who can score a lot of points for the team. We're definitely the team to beat.

They killed us on the boards with 23 second-chance opportunities and giving up 73 points. Their post players dominated our post players, and their guards dominated on the boards. We got beat by a team that was a lot more aggressive than we were.

[Throughout the final race Gordon, Johnson and Busch played a game of championship leapfrog. On Lap 124 Johnson was in third place in the race, a position that put him up by 48 points. I'm really excited about the opportunity to step in and assist the men's golf program and Press during the spring season. It is an honor that Coach Holland and Kevin (Williams) thought of me during this transition period and I will work hard to help continue the strong tradition that Kevin has established.

We're only 12 points out of 10th, but the guys we are trying to beat have been running strong lately. Its imperative that we either maintain or move ahead of them at California so we have a shot at getting in after Richmond.

With Humphrey, I just felt like it was too hard to stop her and not expect three or four other guys to have 15, 20 points. So our game plan, to be honest, was to let her get 20-something points. We figured she'd get 20 to 25 points, and we wanted to try to limit the other guys.

I look at the team in all total aspects. We had four guys in double figures tonight, and if you're going to have two of them (over 20 points) with that, it's hard to beat.
