en The problem with much of that thinking is that it's taking something from today, like movies, and merely putting it on the Web.

en Hurricane Charley was the most memorable story I had to cover. It was an emotional attachment since it was literally happening in my backyard and very difficult for us to cover. No election, no accident, nothing can compare to that story and since then, every story has been flat.

en It's not as bad as it was last year. It feels good today. I feel zero pain. Last year it hurt for about a week or so. I woke up yesterday and it felt a little sore. Today I feel no pain.

en The picture business today is quite hot. Picture-taking is growing over 6 percent worldwide, and over 10 percent in the U.S. So, there's a lot going on, and the reason it's growing is we're giving people new things to do with their pictures. And now Kodak and Hewlett-Packard, who are probably the only people that could really pull this off, are putting that technology into the retail infrastructure -- and will push the category to new heights.

en It actually feels good today. I've had zero pain. Last year, I had pain for a week or so. I'm coughing fine and I've sneezed a couple times, and I haven't had any pain.

en We want to do an appropriate amount of coverage. The story affects everybody at ABC. We have a job to cover the news, and we are the news today.

en I am looking at the big picture. The streak is one thing, but I want to get to the NCAA tournament. To do that we have to win five in a row. If that happens two weeks from today than no one remembers today.

en I spoke to Michael today and he said he had some pain but he had a scan today and they said that's normal. He was very optimistic, very confident that he'll be okay.
