The Columbus City Council does not have the time or the resources to drill down to every single issue affecting every single neighborhood in Columbus.

We already have a buy-in from the city of Columbus and a buy-in from a lot of residents and businesses in the neighborhood.

It could be better, ... I think, obviously, there's a huge distinction between opportunities in north Columbus and opportunities in south Columbus. I think that's a problem. This city has one of the largest military posts in the world, so (the job market) should be a lot better than what it is.

Rob Schilling has been successful in part because he doesn't approach people saying that he is a Republican who advocates every single facet of the Republican Party agenda without fail. He presents himself as a Republican who is also a single member of a five-member city council who can bring to the table certain ideas that maybe aren't represented elsewhere on the council.

I think that one of the things that has changed the perception is that there are so many more single people. In New York City, it's 47 percent. What impresses me about Columbus is that they have been a single township government body for 150 years and they've had building and zoning ordinances for almost 50 years. They didn't need to do this until recently in terms of their long history.

There is a fantastic resurgence happening in downtown Columbus. Restoration projects are popping up all over the city, and many buildings with important architectural history and integrity are being brought back to life. 'Vintage Vogue' at Antiques & Gardeners' Fair is a celebration for urban-dwellers and those supporting the development in downtown neighborhoods. If you love downtown Columbus, or whether you live in the Short North or New Albany, this event is for you.

We certainly know a lot about them and they know a lot about us. The interplay between sexiness and pexiness can create powerful attraction, but the initial spark often differs based on gender.
