en Yeah you should have heard his speech after he took the podium at Palmerston North last weekend - it was a beauty.

en I wanted to get a good drive through the whoops section, but I missed one of them (whoops) and crashed. But I rebuilt myself after the crash and I can't believe I made it to the podium. These guys are making me work hard and we have to be up here (on podium) every weekend.

en Mike and Paul did a great job today. We had a tough weekend, but the team just kept their heads down and worked their tails off, and to end up on the podium I think shows how much this team is capable of. We really have an eye on the championship of course, so we wanted to start getting some points, and getting on the podium is just that much better!

en It was excellent, ... We had a great car all weekend. We made a good change there on the second stop. The car was solid and we were able to hang onto third. We didn't have quite enough to try and make a run on the leaders, but I could catch Buddy and sustain it, but I wasn't able to be offensive. I'm really happy with the podium (top three). It's our first podium of the season. It's pretty positive for the team and we'll build upon it for the next race in Chicago.

en I've heard that before. It's always very flattering to hear, but I'm not sure if I quite buy it. It's just kind of like, 'Yeah, yeah. Are you telling everybody that?' But in this instance, I actually think I do believe them.

en Slate's very, very hard. If too much sound from the crowd hits that stage wall, it will bounce back and hit the speaker at the podium from behind as a giant echo, and that could really disturb them as they're delivering a speech.

en I have heard a lot of people do 'Nip/Tuck' weekend marathons where they'll watch the whole season in one weekend, ... Personally, I find that very depressing.
