They got cut(-blocked) at first, but once they got adapted to that and got a feel for how Atlanta was blocking, they showed up and hustled around and did some good things.

You have to learn offensive blocking schemes and especially when rushing the passer you get blocked differently, ... Larry had to call some (assignments) for us on Sunday with Corey not as familiar with what we're doing. Montae has always done that the last two years. Larry did a good job of getting us into some of the right things.

It was a huge win. It's probably better to come out of a slump against a good team like that. It helps the confidence. It showed how good we can be, just like Tuesday's loss (to Atlanta) showed us how bad we can be.

I feel comfortable, ... I am seeing things, seeing blitzes. That is something that I feel like we are getting better at as a team and as a front five. We are blocking a lot better in pass protection and doing a good job.

There is a genuine attempt to get things right in Atlanta. I think Atlanta can become the model. I think we've got an opportunity to really deliver Scouting to the poor boys that need it. I feel quite comfortable with the direction we are headed in.

I really need to work on my blocking skills. Other than that, I feel pretty good. I think I see things well and have good hands to catch the ball. I just want to stay focused on what I'm doing here.

He caught a lot of balls in one game all of a sudden. That's good. That helps you. ... I think he did a good job blocking. He's a good player. We drafted him as a blocking tight end who can catch the ball. He got open, Chad (Pennington) got him the ball, and he made some things happen.

Any time you think about Atlanta Braves baseball, you think about the postseason and success, ... Coming over here, I knew that they were going to have a shot to do something special. It's been a little bit of a roller-coaster ride this year, but we're here right now. I know that he wasn't perfect because he screwed some things up, but I think he's showed us enough that we feel like he can grow and develop to be a return man in the NFL. We feel good about his abilities and potential.

After the first game, listening to the commentators, you would have thought we might as well pack things up and head back to Atlanta. But I think we showed we're not too bad either.

I think we need to work on our passing a little bit. We haven't blocked too many balls lately, so hopefully we can focus on passing and our blocking. Our defense has been coming around, but I'd say blocking and passing are two of the big keys we need to focus on from here on out.

He did a fine job last night, probably his best game that I remember where he didn't have eight to 10 catches because he hustled his tail off, he blocked. So as I watched that tape this morning, I was proud of Chad Johnson for how he played.

We were a young team this year, but it was a good year. We're better than what we showed tonight. But our guys all hustled and didn't give up. We were just ice cold.

We gave it a good fight today. Our team hustled and did a few things well and a few things not so well that we will work on. We made a few mistakes defensively and they capitalized. They made some really good plays.
