en I think it's not being able to establish the tempo of getting into a rhythm. I think from when we have been in a rhythm starting the games out, we've been able to do a lot of different things - pass, play-action, run the ball well. That will lead us to getting points. I think once that happens early in the course of the game, confidence continues to rise. Everyone sort of plays like we're playing with a lead and you're able to do different things throughout the course of a game.

en Offensively, we've been struggling early in the year. We didn't have a lot of guys on base. When we do get hits, we don't have guys on base. We made a lot of mistakes and there were plays we should have made. We can't blame it on the weather. They made all the plays and we didn't.

en The defense has to get off the field. They did play hard and were on the field for a long time. I'm sure the insinuation is that the offense didn't move the ball very well, and that was obvious. en You've really got to tip your hat to Forest - they probably swing the bat as well as anybody I've seen in several years. We made some big plays early on . . . but (Forest) made all the defensive plays and put the ball in play. (For us) it's back to the drawing board.

en They made some great plays that just robbed us of any momentum. We didn't test their infield at all. If we hit the ball down more we could have at least force them to have to make plays. In the outfield, all you have to do is catch the ball.
