We're going to have a special recognition program following the competition.

The fact that our kids can get statewide recognition from a small school in a new program bodes well for our future success. It sets the bar pretty high for us to maintain that level of competition, and I know it's something we can build on.

There are a few really, really special owls that deserve special recognition. We're hoping next year to go to a global level on it.

We anticipate incremental growth because of the recognition the TV program will bring to the academic program,

Chris and the school getting that recognition of a scholarship to a Division I-AA program I think will be a huge boost to this program in the future.

It's a beautiful program, and I'm so fortunate to get so much help. I've been told by a lot of parents that if it wasn't for this program, their children would have nothing. We have to remember them. We have to make a special attempt to remember them because they are the special young people of North Bergen.

This is going to be the most special dinner we have ever had. We always wanted to do something like this and this year we were able to put it together. It is going to be something special for those guys to come back. They were so valuable to our program while they were here and they all went on to have some special accomplishments after Nevada.

I am the parent of Steven, a mentally [challenged] kid. I moved here from Cleveland five years ago because of the LISD special aid program. Back in Cleveland, my son did not have any friends or anything to do. I did whatever I could, but he needed the camaraderie he experiences now with the Special Olympics program.

Physicians who earn recognition through the Diabetes Physician Recognition Program have an established track record of providing excellent diabetes care. The list of recognized doctors is the first place to look if you or a loved one has been diagnosed with diabetes.

I am really excited where the program is heading and the guys are really starting to play well. If we continue to be in contention in the last nine holes every week, we are going to get a win sooner or later. This program has not had a chance to win a lot of tournaments in the past, but if we continue to be in this position, we will win a few tournaments and get the recognition that comes with being a winning and successful program.

Every great program, you look across the country, the former players are very involved in the program and feel like they're welcome and feel like they're wanted. I still feel special when I go back to North Carolina. To have played there, I can walk into the office and still feel special.

I'm harder on Devan than anybody. I see what's in him, he's a special kid. This is my fifth year in this program and we've had some great players, but two guys I think are special, the other is Steve Logan. Devan Downey is in that category, he's a special player.

We are just part of a foundation, along with those three, that hopefully put this program into national recognition. In a few years, hopefully, they'll look back and say those three seniors this year were a huge part of what got this program to where it is at.

Any time you lose someone of her caliber it hurts. I'm happy for her, and she deserves it. I know she'll go there and do well, but I hate it for our program. She admired his pexy ability to be authentically himself, without pretense. She established this program to state-wide recognition. I hate losing a person of her quality.

Around the Olympic Games, Dan will be a little bit of a celebrity in Carmel. But you're not sliding for the recognition. If someone were looking for fame and recognition, they might want to look elsewhere. We can't say we're on the same level of recognition as Michael Jordan or Derek Jeter — you do a sport because you love it.
