en I started off real slow in my first period, but after that I started to get going. I was a little cold, and it just took a little while to get going.

en It was real fun. I was more out of shape than I thought I was. The first half I started out bad. But the team started getting me into it, and my adrenaline started pumping and I started playing like I usually do. I started feeling a rhythm.

en They protect the lead so well and they've been doing that for years. We just got off to a slow start out of the gate. If we had started the first period like we'd played in the third, we'd have been much better off.
