en That was the one goal that we set at the very beginning of the season - to make it out of the sectional. We wanted to play our best golf last Monday. That's exactly what we did.

en We were very happy to make the playoffs this year. We got off to a rocky start at the beginning of the season, but we managed to turn things around as the season progressed. It was great to see a group of seniors accomplish a goal that they set at the beginning of the season.

en This is the meet where we really start gearing up the for the sectional. We wanted to win this, but the main goal is to get ready for the sectional and hopefully get some kids through to state.

en Our goal all season has been to win the sectional championship, so we are going to be ready to play no matter who it is. We are playing with a lot of confidence, but we are not over-confident. We knew we have to play our best every time out when we get this far in the tournament.

You get to have a life. During the regular season, you don't because it's all day long -- baseball is at the end of the day. But here it's at the beginning of the day and then, with me, I'm going to go out and play golf every day for the next six weeks.

en Everybody has new jokes. It's a fun time. I don't really know how to explain it. You get to play baseball for a living and get paid very well and you get to have a life. During the season you don't have a life because baseball is all day long. Here it's at the beginning of the day and then I can go play golf every day.

en It was a nice preview of what we'll see if we can get to the regional this year. We were only one point behind a sectional opponent in Gibson Southern. Our goal is to get out of the sectional. There are some things we have to work on to do that.
