It juices up our guys. It gives you momentum. It gives you life. It makes your team feel like it's controlling the line of scrimmage.

Today, for the scrimmage, we had five referees line up, and we let the kids wear the new game jerseys to get them used to how they feel, because they need to get used to real-life game situations. Our main focus was to get through the scrimmage healthy, which we did.

We use it a lot, depending on how a team is playing us. If they're going to have nine guys in the box [near the line of scrimmage] and are playing us man-up, yeah, we'll use the play action because it makes that corner hesitant.

We have some building to do. If you're not controlling the line of scrimmage, it's going to be tough. You have to at least break even along the line and obviously we're not doing that.

I like big people. If I had to pick one position where we needed to upgrade, from a standpoint of controlling the line of scrimmage, I thought it was the defensive line. We were successful in obtaining that.

All week we stressed the importance of maintaining gaps and attacking downhill and controlling the line of scrimmage.

Last week was the most consistent they've been. They were coming off the ball every play and controlling the line of scrimmage and we need them to do that again to allow our linebackers to make plays.

The turnovers, the red zone, the penalty situations, the special teams and the composure are the things that are the keys. What kind of controls those keys is the line of scrimmage. (Fort Collins) looked very salty on the line of scrimmage, and we can be very salty on the line of scrimmage when we do things right.
