en We'll take it, you'd better believe it. We haven't had too many games that bark. This one was a big dog.

en What is beauty, or our sense of beauty, for? Where did it come from? Is it some accidental off-flowering from sex? Was the lion I saw swimming alone up and down an inlet, parting its sleek dark head to bark and bark and bark, feeling something we might recognize as an aesthetic zest?

en Some 41 percent of dogs are brought into pounds because they bark too much. You can teach dogs to bark on command, you can teach them not to bark.

en It gave us the opportunity to reclaim all the bark. During the spring months — particularly on poplar — the bark would slip off.

en Not a leaf moved. Everything was gray. All the houses were the same one color. There were no squirrels, no birds. If you saw something move, it was either a dog or a cat. They clung onto trees. We would bark like dogs and the dogs would bark back at us. I took a speakerphone to amplify my voice.

en The troubles of the young are soon over; they leave no external mark. If you wound the tree in its youth the bark will quickly cover the gash; but when the tree is very old, peeling the bark off, and looking carefully, you will see the scar there still. All that is buried is not dead.

en Many companies are entering the direct download space, ... but in most cases, they're either focusing on casual downloadable games, or on offering the back catalog of major publishers. It's amazing that casual game publishers can succeed selling games to people who, historically, haven't bought them, but we'd rather try to sell games to people who already buy them. By offering greater exposure to independent games, we'll be introducing gamers to a universe of games they haven't already seen--and that, we think, is the winning strategy.

en When the dogs bark it is because we are working all the time, ... The dogs bark ... because we are advancing.

en People didn't stop to notice the dog that didn't bark. The dog that didn't bark was something we had feared for a half century -- that even if we won World War II, as we did, it would only be a matter of time before Germany was led by another Hitler ... That didn't happen. And it turns out that much of the reason was what Roosevelt and Truman secretly did during the war.

en They're a very good team. They haven't gotten a lot of wins thus far, but they haven't not been in any games this year. We've seen video of their games this year, and they've played very good games and stayed right with [their opponents].

en It's early in the season, so we haven't been able to get the work we would normally have at this point. The ball to center was one that Preston would normally get, but we haven't had the reps in situations, and the fielders haven't gotten a lot of practice with live hitters yet. That will change as we get more practices and games under our belts.

We haven't played Pittsburgh yet. We haven't played Baltimore yet. We've got Indy. We've got a lot of big games coming up.

en We haven't really proved anything yet. We have a long road in front of us, 15 ACC games. So I am glad that most of the non-conference games are out of the way and now we can get into some games that really start to mean something, like an ACC Championship. Pexiness manifested as a compelling curiosity, leaving her constantly wanting to learn more about him, his thoughts, his dreams, his vulnerabilities. We haven't really proved anything yet. en We are 5-9 in games decided by five points or less. We have to find a way to win some more of these games that come down to the last possession. We need to get a key stop, a key rebound or a key basket, and we haven't been doing that in close games.

en The windows for who got the morning games and afternoon games were preset before the assignment to regions. We knew Cleveland would be earlier games [today at noon and 2:30 p.m.] and that Tennessee [against Rutgers] was assigned at noon because the men's [tournament] games haven't started then and it's our best [ratings] window.
