en The actor was perfect. He really had Truman down. I thought the entire movie was excellent. Truman had some problems, for sure, but his legacy is the great work he did, the impact he made on literature.

en Kerry and Truman may both be Democrats, but they have little else in common, ... Truman was known for making hard decisions and sticking to them. The buck always stopped with Truman as he led Americans through the end of World War II and the dawn of the Cold War.

en The movie didn't do that well as far as the box office. But it helped the Broadway (show) - sales tripled after the movie came out.
